Frodsham & District Photographic Society
Welcome to the website for the Frodsham & District Photographic Society where you will find detailed information on our annual programme, internal competitions, membership and contacts.
Included are other pages of immediate interest and links to related websites. You may e-mail any of the listed officers via this website.
Established in 1965, the Society has been catering for local photographers during the last 40 years. Membership is open to anyone who professes an interest in still photography, whatever his/her capability, expertise, or age. Our Monday evening meetings run through the winter months and support a variety of different subjects (see Programme page). We cover both conventional and digital photography with the aim of satisfying the preferences of the members.
As digital photography has become more popular, we have expanded the programme to help answer the many practical queries and technical aspects from camera, through image manipulation, to final print and presentation. Internal monthly and annual competitions encourage members to improve their skills even further.
This website is a key route to communicating with our members and anyone interested in the Society. If you would like to join the Society, an Application Form can be found on this website for return to the Membership Secretary. However we welcome new members at any meeting during the season. We look forward to seeing you on Monday evenings at Castle Park Arts Centre.
