The Society is governed by internal rules and is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union, which provides a substantial source of lecturers and judges for competitions.  

Meetings are held from September to April on Mondays at 7.30 pm in Gallery 1 (downstairs) at Castle Park Arts Centre, Fountain Lane, Frodsham.
